Led by the coaching staff of Joe Birch, Chris Marchese, Mike Little and Prentice Toker, the U14 Marlboros finished their season losing to the Vaughan Kings in the Finals of the U14 OHL Cup.
Hosted in Kingston, Ontario, this team finished first in its division by going 3-0 in the round robin to earn a quarterfinal against the Jr. Canadians.
Avenging their GTHL semi-final loss, the Marlboros beat JRC 5-4 to advance to the Semis, where they played the number one-ranked USA team in Detroit Little Caesars.
Avenging their quarterfinals loss to DLC at the Silverstick, the Marlboros beat DLC 8-5 to advance to the Finals. Unfortunately, their avenging tour stopped as they ran out of steam in the finals.
